Things to know when trying my recipes
• Not precise
I am not very precise and measuring is not how I cook so hopefully you can make your own whim decisions about my measurements.
• Large Batches
I make large batches of everything so you may want to cut in half sometimes.
Healthy cooking
I have always been a health conscience person. Currently I am detoxing heavy metals out of my body such as aluminum, arsenic, manganese and others.
Don’t know what its made of – do not use it
I am not using any pans that I do not know what they are made of and you should not either.
Pans I use
For metal I am only using stainless steel. I use glass and cast iron also.
No Aluminum
I am not using any pans that I do not know what they are made of and you should not either. For metal I am only using stainless steel. No aluminum foil – there are alternatives. I use glass backing dishes with covers often. There are many cast iron dutch ovens and health options.
Utensils
I love wood especially bamboo. I use simple items and am a bit old fashioned
Cast Iron
I use cast iron – I do not use nonstick, aluminum or many cooking pans especially now that I am detoxing from heavy metals – be aware what you cook with

cast iron skillet
cast iron wok
Filtered water only
I am cooking with bottled and filtered water always since I have well water. If you have a well check it and maintain it.
Mindfulness
You are cooking — be in the moment — if you need a rush meal my style is not for you.
Enjoy the process
Have fun, play music, have glass of wine or special tea – feel it, love it, enjoy the process
