Yes fresh is always best but who has time to do it every day every time all the time. I find this helps me get more nutrients in my body when I am tired, lazy, late, sick…
- FREEZE IN ICE CUBES TRAYS FOR LATER —tip average ice cube trays are 2 tablespoons to fill (less mess)
Ice cubes can be melted to use as is or added to other drinks. You could add to your water bottle, or celery juice. You can add to daily smoothies. It’s easier to do the greens not everyday. You have great ideas to add — let me know. Ice cubes can also be stored in freezer bags.

2) FREEZE BANNANAS AHEAD
— great to add something frozen/cold to the drink
— you will always have bananas ready and not say
“Oh CRAB! the bananas have gone by
Freeze individual first as shown so they do not all stick together. No fun to have block of frozen bananas at 5 am to deal with. I froze on baking sheet then individually wrapped. (see below)

3) FREEZE JUICES FOR LATER USE —great for to-go purposes
— great to take to gym, school, work etc
— use as is or drop ice cube into another drink

ENJOY THE PROCESS — FEEL GOOD
Taste as you make it, play music, look out window what do you see?
Feel good about what you are doing for your body (Family, partner, children etc) Embrace the process & Be Mindful (MIndfullness)
OUT MY KITCHEN WINDOW

My grandkids love banana smoothies, made by simply blending frozen bananas. Ice Cream-like, but totally healthy. Can add any other frozen berries for variety.
Absolutely — Great way to get nutrition into children. I will eventually post the recipes I make for children at the cottage in summer. Great refreshment while hermit crab searching 🙂
